According to club insider ExWHUemployee, West Ham United are considering a move for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Victor Wanyama in this summer's transfer window.

Sassuolo have reportedly made an £8.1m bid for Pedro Obiang, which could see the Hammers go into the market for a replacement.

According to ExWHUemployee - speaking on The West Ham Way podcast, via Hammers.News - Wanyama could be targeted if Obiang departs.

The 28-year-old has been with Spurs since 2016 - making 93 appearances for the capital outfit in all competitions.

Injuries and a loss of form meant that the midfielder made just 13 Premier League appearances last term, however, and his contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has less than two years to run.
