West Ham fans are well known for claiming the FA and the Premier League's referees are against them and today they certainly have a case to support it.

Having felt hard done by following the FA's decision to ban Manuel Lanzini for allegedly diving to win a penalty in the Hammers' 3-0 win at Stoke earlier this month, West Ham fans will feel as though Bobby Madley's decision not send Simon Francis off for kicking Cheikhou Kouyate in the face on Boxing Day is just the latest decision that unfairly goes against them.

With the teams level at 1-1 Francis left his foot in a challenge which was high and dangerous, making contact with the Hammers midfielder's face. In any other game it would be a red card, but Madley decided the challenge was only worthy of a yellow card.

It was a shocking decision and one that could go on to cost West Ham a result if Francis plays any part in a Bournemouth victory.

West Ham fans, as you can imagine, are absolutely livid on Twitter...
