Yaya Toure’s agent Dimitry Seluk is currently having a bit of fun on social media as he keeps the football world guessing when it comes to the midfielder’s future.
Toure left Manchester City on a free transfer at the end of last season, but has now passed a medical with his new club, according to Seluk.
The midfielder’s agent insisted that it was not West Ham, claiming that Toure ‘is a champion’, and would therefore not be moving to the London Stadium.
West Ham insider ExWHUemployee has since confirmed the news, and it would be fair to say that the club’s supporters are pleased with the update.
Toure made over 300 appearances during his time at Man City – winning three Premier League titles and one FA Cup before leaving at the end of last season.
The 35-year-old did not score in his 17 appearances for City last term, however, and the 6ft 2in ace is not exactly a long-term option for any club.
