Some West Ham fans on Twitter have been debating about who the better player is between Aaron Cresswell and Arthur Masuaku, after Manuel Pellegrini rotated his options for the trip to Brighton.

Cresswell started last weekend's 5-0 defeat to Manchester City and came in for a lot of criticism from some Hammers fans, and Pellegrini clearly agreed with them as he dropped the England international for Masuaku.

The DR Congo international helped the Irons to a 1-1 draw against the Seagulls, prompting some supporters below to praise him and say that the 25-year-old is the superior player to Cresswell.

However, others felt that the former Olympiacos man wasn't all that, and have chosen to ridicule those who felt Cresswell should be dropped in favour of Masuaku - it seems to have split the supporters below completely.

One thing is for certain though - the left-back position is arguably West Ham's weakest area, and one can only imagine why a new face wasn't signed in the summer.

Let's see what the clearly divided West Ham fans on Twitter think about Masuaku and Cresswell...
