David Moyes now knows the scale of the task ahead of him at West Ham United after his side lost 2-0 away to Watford in the English Premier League on Sunday.

It was the kind of match that the Hammers have to be competitive in if they're to turn their season around but goals from Will Hughes and Richarlison ended any hopes of a result.

Moyes will either have to significantly turn around the form of established senior players at the Hammers, rely on an influx of youth players or spend well in the January transfer window. The status quo isn't working and players aren't performing to the standards they'd previously set at the club.

Fans were left frustrated with the performance of a number of players but it was the midfield and Cheikhou Kouyate in particular who received the brunt of the criticism, with some even suggesting it's time for the club to move him on.
