West Ham fans blast Fredericks performance vs Cardiff

In a tradition as old as time, West Ham have downed tools at 39 points again, and fans are absolutely fuming at Ryan Fredericks’ performance on Saturday.

The Hammers continue to be one of the most frustratingly inconsistent teams in the Premier League, as Manuel Pellegrini’s side put in a truly shocking display at the Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday.

After taking points off Liverpool, playing Manchester City close and cruising past Newcastle without breaking a sweat, one would expect tails to be up in the Irons camp, but they looked like a team devoid of confidence and verve on Saturday afternoon.

Neil Warnock’s side made them pay for their lacklustre efforts, as goals from Junior Hoilett and Victor Camarasa gave the hosts a 2-0 win.

There were plenty of poor showings from the visitors, but none more so than Fredericks, who was signed last summer by Pellegrini as a long-term replacement for Pablo Zabaleta.

The 26 year-old completed just 74 per cent of his passes and his defending during the second Cardiff goal was nothing short of embarrassing.
