Having signed from Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt for a reported £45m in the summer, Sebastien Haller is no doubt tasked with spearheading West Ham's attack for the years to come.

The 25-year-old enjoyed a prolific campaign with the German outfit last season, and became the Hammers' club-record signing with his move to London.

Following a goalless start in his opening Premier League game against reigning champions Manchester City, Haller announced his arrival in English football with a brace against Watford on Saturday.

The Frenchman's first goal was a regulation finish for a striker, but his second was something out of the top drawer. The 6 foot 3 star acrobatically turned home from three yards out and essentially wrapped up the three points for Manuel Pellegrini's men.

After seeing the the 25-year-old strike twice, West Ham fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the centre-forward.

Many Hammers supporters hailed their new front-man, with one particularly excited fan calling for Haller to be announced as the next winner of the coveted Ballon d'Or.

Indeed, another supporter insisted that Haller's goals showed the kind of "difference" a proper striker could make on the side.
