West Ham fans concerned by Fabian Balbuena’s recent form after Man City thumping

Some West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to express their concern at Fabian Balbuena’s recent form, following Saturday’s 5-0 drubbing at the hands of the champions, Manchester City.

The Paraguay international impressed last season, with some Hammers supporters specifically praising his performances against Manchester United, Leicester and Fulham to name a few, whilst they were also happy with his return from injury back in March – he seems to be a well liked figure amongst the fanbase.

However, the 27-year-old endured a poor Copa America tournament with Paraguay this summer, making two appearances but receiving a red card in the second and – as a result – final of those showings.

The 6 foot 2 centre-back also struggled against the Citizens – whilst many defenders can’t cope against Pep Guardiola’s side, Balbuena’s recent form has been enough to get the West Ham fans on Twitter talking.
