West Ham United fans have taken the opportunity to criticise Mark Noble after the club asked supporters on Twitter to sum up their captain's season.

Noble made 32 appearances in all competitions as the Hammers ultimately finished 10th in the Premier League under Manuel Pellegrini.

The midfielder missed seven games in the top-flight in total and the club won just one; a 4-2 victory over Burnley. He was also absent from the 2-0 FA Cup victory over Birmingham City but played in the humbling 4-2 defeat to AFC Wimbledon.

Noble, of course, is ageing in the Hammers engine room and turned 32 earlier this month. His contract runs until 2021, having extended his deal in December of 2018.

He ended the season with two goals against Watford, his brace coming in a thumping 4-1 win over the FA Cup finalists at Vicarage Road.

But supporters have lashed out at Noble, insisting that he did not enjoy an altogether successful campaign.
