West Ham United recorded a 3-1 win over Watford on Saturday afternoon to pick up their first Premier League victory of the 2019-20 campaign.
Sebastien Haller scored twice for the Hammers at Vicarage Road and was widely praised by the club’s fans on social media following the clash in the capital.
The same cannot be said for Ryan Fredericks, though, with his performance disappointing a number of the club’s supporters.
According to WhoScored, the 26-year-old made just one tackle during his 90 minutes on the field, but the 5 ft 11 defender did boast a 90% pass success rate.
There is no question that it was a positive afternoon for Manuel Pellegrini’s side, who had taken just one point from their first two fixtures against Manchester City and Brighton & Hove Albion.

However, to suggest that Fredericks’ performance was not well received by the West Ham supporters would be a slight understatement.

Makes too many mistakes for me.
Not just basing it on yesterday’s game. He seems too lack composure and do some silly things that can lead to us conceding.
Hopefully he can cut that out this season.

Was involved a lot but just can not provide quality. He miss judges tackles, over hits crosses and overall just doesn’t seem to be at the level of premier league. You were 100% right about how his pace. If he didn’t have that he would be useless

shaky, everything he touched went to pot. He really looks like he’s lacking in confidence. My issue with him isn’t just last few games, mine is i’ve never see any attacking benefit from him, he hasn’t got the composure going forward his final ball is pretty poor. Its a shame.

Never really been sure of his ability/quality. Not sure he’s good enough half the time.

Woeful. Made one good tackle but crossing was awful, lost the ball at least 3 times in dangerous positions, got beat in the channel loads and booted one out of play for a corner. If Masuaku played like that he’d have got a slating

I thought he had 3+ howlers which could have lead to goals!
