West Ham fans debate potential Wilshere arrival

According to The Express, West Ham United are in a strong position to sign Jack Wilshere this summer if the midfielder decides to leave Arsenal.

Wilshere has still not signed a new contract at Arsenal, and the Englishman will see his current deal with the Gunners expire at the end of this month.

The 26-year-old made 38 appearances in all competitions for Arsenal during the 2017-18 campaign, but failed to win a spot in the England squad for the 2018 World Cup.

It remains to be seen whether new Arsenal boss Unai Emery sees Wilshere as a key player as the London club prepare to enter a new era.

West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini is believed to be a huge admirer of Wilshere’s talents, and is seemingly determined to sign the midfielder this summer.

The West Ham fans have been reacting to the transfer speculation, and it would be fair to say that the bulk are struggling to come to an agreement.

Indeed, there are plenty that would welcome Wilshere to the London Stadium, but there are just as many that are simply not interested in the deal.
