West Ham United will have the chance to bounce back from Sunday's 2-0 defeat at Watford when they host Leicester City in the Premier League on Friday night.

It will be David Moyes' first home game in charge of the Hammers, and it would be fair to say that the pressure will be firmly on the Scot to deliver three points.

Javier Hernandez's absence for the Watford clash meant that 20-year-old forward Toni Martinez was named on the bench.

The Spaniard did not receive a run-out at Vicarage Road, however, with Andy Carroll starting the match and Diafra Sakho providing the attacking option off the bench.

Carroll and Sakho both took stick for their part in the defeat, and there is no question that the West Ham fans want Martinez to be given his chance on Friday night.

The youngster has scored eight times in 10 Premier League 2 appearances this season, and he could be given the opportunity to become an instant hero with the West Ham supporters.

Martinez fronted up with a tweet on Monday morning, and it seems that the Hammers could turn to the forward in search of inspiration.
