Loads of West Ham fans have been giving their verdict on the defeat to Wolves, and the performance of Carlos Sanchez has them pulling their hair out.
Adama Traore scored the only goal of the match on Saturday as Wolves stole all three points at the London Stadium, and fans can’t believe how bad Sanchez was.
Sanchez was perhaps the one signing that didn’t get fans off their seats, and the Colombian showed exactly why against Wolves, despite having a surprisingly good performance against Arsenal last week.
The 32 year-old is exactly the type of player the Hammers have been lacking in their midfield, but it was his error that gifted Wolves their late winner.
He also made just one tackle and no interceptions, worrying statistics for a defensive midfielder, so it’s not surprising that fans are already calling for him to be axed from the side.
Manuel Pellegrini has got two weeks to sort out the mess before a trip to Everton, and his primary focus will have to be the paper-thin midfield.

Carlos Sanchez was fat and slow 5 years ago. His lack of fitness and incompetence cost West Ham a point which would’ve been deserved. Another awful start to the season. Can’t see a win coming for months.

Does Pellegrini do any fitness work in training? Don’t think Carlos Sanchez recorded an accelerated sprint in the second half. Looked so lacklustre in the second half which eventually leaded to the sloppy goal. Seems like Bilic 2.0
