West Ham United will look to pick up their first point of the Premier League season when they host Wolverhampton Wanderers at the London Stadium on Saturday, and Irons fans have delivered their verdict on opposing winger Adama Traore.
The west Midlands outfit signed the explosive former Barcelona man in an £18m deal during the summer transfer window to boost their squad, and the 22-year-old made his first competitive start in the 2-0 Carabao Cup win against Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday night – picking up an assist.
Should he keep his spot in the XI he will likely be up against Arthur Masuaku in the capital on Saturday, and his sheer pace and dribbling ability mean that he will be a big threat – especially if Nuno Santo plays on the counter-attack.
West Ham supporters have been quick to have their say on Traore via social media, and while one said “you just bloody know Adama Traore is destroying us”, another said “I really wish we had signed him”.
Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction…
You just bloody know Adama Traore is destroying us tomorrow.

Foot race between him and Fredericks?

Out of all the players we were linked with in the summer, I really wished we had signed him. Can see him doing a Zaha, but even better. Little end product early in his career and then when the penny drops, a world beater!

Cresswell would get easily exposed by Traore. While Masuaku might not be the best defender we need his pace to try and counter Traore

Snodgrass can obviously play in Yarmolenko’s place as he’s been playing well lately but i’d personally bring Yarmo in. Rice could also maybe come in for Antonio to make it a 433 but i think Antonio could help Masuaku deal with Traore who’s bound to be a handful
