West Ham fans doubt Rafinha deal will happen

According to Sport, West Ham United are considering a move for Barcelona attacker Rafinha in this summer’s transfer window.

Rafinha spent the second half of last season on loan at Inter Milan, and it is understood that the Italian giants can make the move permanent ahead of the 2018-19 campaign.

However, Sport have claimed that Inter are stalling on a deal, which has allowed West Ham to enter the race for the two-time Brazil international.

Rafinha might be surplus to requirements at Barcelona this summer, but he has made 79 appearances for the Catalan giants – scoring 11 times in the process.

The midfielder, who has also previously been linked with Everton, was also developing into a first-team star before he suffered the serious knee injury that ended his 2016-17 campaign.

It would certainly be some coup if West Ham managed to secure the deal in this summer’s transfer window, but the club’s supporters are not exactly holding their breath.

Indeed, it seems that the bulk of West Ham fans on social media do not expect Rafinha to make the move to the London stadium this summer.
