But Ex, the Hammers insider, posted a gif on Twitter shortly afterwards showing the words “positive vibes”.
And a number of supporters believe that it could relate to transfer activity; Football FanCast understands that the club remain in talks with La Liga club Celta Vigo over a possible deal for Maxi Gomez this summer.
