Lots of West Ham United fans on Twitter have been fuming at an update posted by insider source ExWHUemployee on the potential signing of Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge.
Wouldn’t surprise me if he ends up being a last minute signing but we shall see https://t.co/zYG75CprSQ

The popular account claimed that he wouldn’t be surprised if the former England man ended up at London Stadium by the end of the summer transfer window and that his could be a last-minute deal.
It was confirmed on Tuesday that Sturridge will be leaving Anfield at the end of his contract at the end of June and therefore, will be available on a free transfer this summer.
However, members of the Claret & Blue Army were far from impressed as they gave their views on the potential signing, despite the club’s clear need for new centre-forwards.
One labelled the possible deal as “madness,” while another begged god that it wouldn’t happen and one more took aim at the 29-year-old’s attitude and fitness records and stated his desire to see younger players arrive.
Below are the best negative Hammers reactions to the Ex Tweet…
Pointless signing, so injury prone, just be another Andy Carroll,be injured all time, when will we ever learn…

Would be a shocking signing if true. We never learn.

No thanks, young and hungry players not players with a questionable attitude and poor fitness record. He’d just be on a large contract and injured ? pic.twitter.com/d0XZJwNd7U
