According to reports, West Ham are disappointed with David Moyes and are having doubts over the manager’s future, and fans couldn’t be happier with the news.

Joining a club like West Ham to rescue them from a relegation scrap is somewhat of a lose-lose for managers.

If the club goes down, then of course they lose, but if they stay up by scraping results and defensive football, the fans grow frustrated with the style of play and lack of entertainment.

Sam Allardyce has suffered a similar fate at Everton, despite getting the Toffees up into the top half of the table.

West Ham fans were hoping to recover the form of their incredible final season at the Boleyn Ground this season, but with three games to go they sit just three points above the drop zone.

Perhaps what is really infuriating to fans is that for all the negative and defensive setups that Moyes has been criticised for, the Hammers have got one of the worst goal differences in the league, and have suffered several heavy defeats.

The Hammers face Leicester, Manchester United and Everton in their final games, and the report claims another hammering like the one suffered to Manchester City could end Moyes’ time at West Ham.

It also claims the board are disappointed with his defensive approach, so that's one thing at least they have in common with the fans.

Fans have been reacting to the news on Twitter, and some are even hoping for a heavy defeat to get the manager out!
