West Ham fans loved Noble’s Leicester performance

West Ham fans are showing the love for Mark Noble, after their captain scored a stunning volley in Saturday’s 2-0 win at Leicester.

There’s no question Marko Arnautovic has been the saviour of West Ham’s season, but a much more divisive figure proved how valuable he was in Saturday’s win at the King Power Stadium.

If Arnautovic is West Ham’s saviour, then Noble is the Hammers’ heartbeat, and the captain put in one of his best shifts of the season before firing in a sensational goal.

Noble has been the subject of plenty of criticism this season, with plenty of fans feeling he doesn’t have the legs anymore, and others just annoyed he seems to do more talking off the pitch than on it.

There won’t be many criticising the captain after Saturday though, as he showed just what West Ham means to him when they needed him most.

The 30 year-old scored a fantastic 8.04 rating on Whoscored.com, and the Hammers are now safe from the drop with two matches left to play.

Fans are heaping praise on their passionate captain, and some of the best Twitter reactions can be found below…
