West Ham fans are fuming on Twitter after club captain Mark Noble sent out a rallying cry to supporters.

There hasn’t been much to cheer about at the Olympic Stadium recently, well except for the pitch invaders of course.

The Hammers have lost four of their five in the league, and have conceded eleven goals in their last three. Sitting just two points above Southampton, Moyes’ men welcome the Saints to the Olympic Stadium this Saturday for a massive clash.

With trips to Chelsea, Arsenal and Leicester to come, this weekend’s match is the most crucial fixture of Moyes’ tenure so far, and a win could put the Hammers five points clear of the Saints.

After the scenes last time out against Burnley, most fans respected the actions of captain Mark Noble, who came into conflict with one of the pitch invaders.

However, plenty have now been annoyed by Noble’s rallying cry, which asked the fans to unite behind the team. Fans are questioning why the players are worrying about the fans, when it’s the players that need to step up and perform.
