Aaron Mooy starred in Huddersfield Town’s 2-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
Indeed, Mooy netted both of his team’s goals against last season’s Championship winners, and his performance led to a West Ham United fan account on Twitter calling on their club to sign the Australia international.
West Ham were actually linked with a move for Mooy – valued at £9m by Transfermarket – during the summer transfer window, but the midfielder remained at the John Smith’s Stadium.
The 28-year-old has proved to be a dependable Premier League performer over the last two seasons, but it seems that the majority of West Ham fans are not interested in their club trying to bring him to the London Stadium.
