West Ham fans on Twitter were concerned about Marko Arnautovic after the Austrian striker limped off following a fantastic display in the 3-1 win over Everton on Sunday.
The Hammers took the lead after just 11 minutes against a lacklustre Everton side, as Arnautovic broke the offside trap and squared to the new man Andriy Yarmolenko, who had a simple job of tucking the ball past Jordan Pickford.
Then, 20 minutes later, Hammers captain Mark Noble pounced on a poor ball from Pickford and found Yarmolenko, who cut inside onto his left-foot and curled a perfect finish beyond the Everton and England goalkeeper.
On the stroke of half-time, Gylfi Sigurdsson pulled one back for the Toffees with a sublime header, but Arnautovic’s goal just after the hour mark put the game to bed following some neat play with Pedro Obiang. However, shortly after the 29-year-old went down off the ball holding his left knee and sent Hammers fans on Twitter into somewhat of a meltdown. Check out the tweets below.

Sounded like Arnautovic said he’s been suffering with his knee for weeks, maybe time for a rest before we do a typical West Ham and make it worse.

Alright we won but what if Arnautovic has a lengthy injury

Just get this over the finish line and hope that Arnautovic hasn’t got a serious injury. #evewhu

That goal could be costly if Arnautovic picked up a injury.

Pellegrini has rubished the Sky rumours that Perez did not warm up when instructed. He stated that he had to make a substitution quickly following Arnautovic's injury and Antonio was ready to go on.
