West Ham United fans on Twitter have been reacting to an ExWHUemployee rumour posted by a fan account concerning the club’s summer transfer budget.
West Ham’s summer transfer budget is expected to be approx. £65m, including funds from players that will be sold.

The popular Hammers insider source revealed on the West Ham Way Podcast on Wednesday evening that Manuel Pellegrini will have approximately £65m to spend in the current window.
That’s including money made from the sales of players with striker Lucas Perez and midfielder Edimilson Fernandes already heading through the London Stadium exit door for undisclosed fees this summer.
The budget is a far cry from the nearly £100m that the Chilean gaffer was afforded in his maiden window in east London, through which he was able to bring in the likes of Felipe Anderson and Issa Diop.
This has left some members of the Claret & Blue Army feeling somewhat short-changed and they were not happy as remarks such as “Relegation scrap” and “Glad I didn’t renew”, in relation to season tickets, flew around the Twittersphere.

We can’t compete with other teams ?

Unfortunately looks like a relegation battle the budget may sound nice but what with other teams spending big money so we have to make sure we get the very best players instead of the usual ones as our transfer policy has shown in The passed

So about £35m net.

I’d have accepted £65m PLUS what we make from sales of outgoing players. Speculate to accumulate. We’re not going to challenge for ‘top6’ with that sort of budget. Mid-table mediocrity, at best.
