West Ham fans pleased with Josh Cullen performance despite cup draw

West Ham United will have to negotiate a tricky FA Cup third round replay after drawing 0-0 away to League One outfit Shrewsbury Town on Sunday.

David Moyes’ side were poor throughout the 90 minutes and on another day could have easily lost the encounter. However, they live to fight another day in the competition, even if a replay isn’t exactly ideal in the midst of an already busy schedule.

There were little positives for supporters during the stalemate but they were left impressed with some of the younger players given a run out by Moyes.

21-year-old Josh Cullen was making his first start of the season after returning from a loan spell at Bolton Wanderers and was one of the few players to show the kind of fight and determination that fans are looking for in midfield.

He even continued playing despite losing a tooth from a high boot, having to change shorts which were covered in blood.

Supporters were full of appreciation for his showing and took to Twitter to share their thoughts…
