Robert Snodgrass did not start West Ham United's Premier League clash with Liverpool on Sunday afternoon, but the attacker did come off the bench at the interval.

It proved to be a very difficult afternoon for the Hammers, however, as they conceded twice in each half to suffer a 4-0 defeat to Jurgen Klopp's side.

New head coach Manuel Pellegrini will be keen to move on quickly from the loss, and he now has a home match against Bournemouth to think about this weekend.

The West Ham fans have been discussing potential team selection on Twitter, and it seems that a number want Snodgrass to be included in the XI.

The Scot is back with the Hammers this season following a very impressive 2017-18 season on loan at Aston Villa in the Championship.

It remains to be seen just how much first-team football the 30-year-old is given this term, but a number of West Ham supporters thought that their team looked much better when the 6ft ace was on the field at Anfield.
