A struggling West Ham United were drawn away to League One high-flyers Shrewsbury Town in the FA Cup third round draw on Monday night, and Irons fans were quick to have their say on the tie.

The Hammers' poor Premier League form continued as they were beaten 2-1 by leaders Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, and as well as being 19th in the table they are also without a top flight win since September.

David Moyes is also still yet to pick up his first victory in charge, and as well as the Scot coming up against the team he used to play for when his current club travel to the New Meadow, Joe Hart will also return to the club he started his career with.

Shrewsbury are on course for the Championship as things stand as they currently lie second in the League One table, and they will be looking to cause a big upset in the New Year.

West Ham supporters took to social media to give their thoughts on the draw, and while one said "Shrewsbury away? Nothing can go wrong", another simply said "Oh God".

Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction...
