West Ham United will attempt to bounce back from Sunday’s 2-0 defeat at Watford when they welcome Leicester City to the London Stadium on Friday night.
There is simply no downplaying the importance of the clash with the Foxes, where David Moyes will go in search of his first win as head coach.
A number of the club’s players have taken criticism from the West Ham fans in recent weeks, and Pedro Obiang is the latest to be given a few words after quotes from the midfielder were published on the London outfit’s official Twitter page.
Obiang claimed that hard work would see West Ham overcome their problems, but as expected, his words were not well received by the club’s fans.
Talk is cheap when the same things continue to happen on the field, and that was the message that the supporters wanted to get across on Tuesday afternoon.
It was nothing personal against Obiang, but there is no question that the Hammers fans are fed up with their football club at the moment.

How about you actually work hard, instead of talking about it 🤷🏻♂️

2 wins in 12 games. No win in our last 5 games. Obiang thinks we can go "something" better.. Problem solved then!

So it's taken almost half a season for the penny to finally drop ? The reason we are in this mess is thanks to lazy, feckless, half-baked, overpaid prima donnas like you and your teammates. Wake up, it's our club not yours and we pay your wages.

Garnish the player's wages until they get better results. Respect the uniform! Respect the club! OR get out and leave us! WEST HAM UNITED FOREVER!

Obiang has talent but seems to hesitate too much. Kouyate is a CB, period. Stop playing him in midfield!
