West Ham fans have been reacting to yet another devastating update on Manuel Lanzini, as reports claim he could be out for a whopping 15 months.
There have been plenty of conflicting reports on Lanzini’s knee injury, but most of them seemed to suggest the crafty playmaker would be lucky to play a game next season.
The latest report from The Mirror is the news that absolutely no one wanted to hear, as they claim he could be out of action until at least the summer of 2019.
The 25 year-old damaged his knee in Argentina training shortly before the World Cup, which has thrown a huge spanner in the works of Manuel Pellegrini’s transfer plans.
The Chilean manager now must find some extra creativity in the transfer market, as well as the defensive additions, which are well under way.
According to the Mirror report, the club have been told Lanzini’s injury is a “cruciate plus”, which will keep him out for around 15 months.
The fan favourite Argentine international is said to be distraught at the news, and fans are feeling the exact same way.

I would say there is a strong chance he may never be an effective player again considering his recent fitness record added to the mix.
