On Monday afternoon, West Ham United's official Twitter account posted a message from David Moyes, which asked the club's fans to stick with the team following a poor run of results over the last few weeks.

The Hammers have enjoyed some excellent wins since Moyes took charge, but there is no getting away from the fact that the capital club have only won one of their last five matches in all competitions.

On Saturday, West Ham suffered a 3-1 defeat at Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League having been held to a 1-1 draw by Crystal Palace during the week.

It would be fair to say that the West Ham fans were not pleased with the club's January business, meanwhile. Star names were promised, but the arrival of Jordan Hugill from Preston North End did little to capture the imagination.

There is absolutely no doubting that the club's supporters are behind the team, but they have once again let their feelings be known on the board.

You just know that this is not going to end well.
