West Ham fans react to Moyes’ team selection v Bournemouth

West Ham travel to Bournemouth on Tuesday afternoon in search of a much needed three points.

The Hammers fell to a disappointing 3-2 home defeat to fellow strugglers Newcastle on Saturday, despite leading 1-0 early on, and will need to ensure they record maximum points against a Bournemouth side who are one place and one point below them in the Premier League standings.

Moyes has opted against fielding a recognised striker from the start in his last few games, a decision which initially looked like a stroke of genius after masterminding a home win over Chelsea and a good 0-0 draw with Arsenal.

But the defeat to Newcastle will have highlighted the need for more attacking options and while they have been boosted by the return of Manuel Lanzini following his suspension, Moyes has again option against playing a striker.

Lanzini comes in for Antonio, who doesn’t even make the bench, while strikers Andy Carroll, Diafra Sakho and Javier Hernandez all have to settle for a place on the bench again.
