West Ham United fans have been revelling in academy product Nathan Holland's performance for the club's under-23s in their key Premier League 2 victory at Swansea City on Monday evening.

The Hammers picked up a vital triumph in the top tier of English youth football to move them just three points from Tottenham Hotspur and the safety of tenth place, with a game in hand.

However, it was the individual brilliance of Holland that Irons fans were more interested in as he picked up a pair of assists and really caught the eye in the 0-3 win, setting up Mesaque Dju's first goal in claret and blue and Dan Kemp's second of the night at the Liberty Stadium late on.

Supporters are now calling for the former Everton man to be included in Manuel Pellegrini's first-team set-up, like youngsters such as Grady Diangana and more recently Xande Silva, have this season.

Some have even suggested that Holland could be a brighter prospect than Diangana, who's made 14 Premier League appearances in 2018/2019 so far.
