West Ham fans have debated the prospect of selling Issa Diop to Manchester United after ExWHUemployee, via Phoenix FM, claimed that the club could table a new bid for the defender.

United were heavily linked with a swoop for the Hammers defender earlier in June.

Sky Sports News, at the time, reported that a bid of £60m would see the Irons come to the negotiating table.

And the Hammers insider has now claimed that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side could offer that figure, plus a selection of players who they wish to move out of the club. Matteo Darmian and Marcos Rojo were both mentioned as possible options in part-exchange.

And fans have been left split over the news, with many claiming that they cannot afford to let the star go, while others think the fee is just too high to reject.
