Jordan Hugill joined West Ham United from Preston North End in the final stages of the 2018 January transfer window.
The move was a surprise, and the 26-year-old only played 22 minutes of Premier League football for the Hammers in the second half of the 2017-18 campaign.
David Moyes brought the centre-forward to London, but the Scot has since left his role as head coach, and it remains to be seen whether Hugill fits into the plans of new boss Manuel Pellegrini.
Hugill has had a tough time of it on social media due to his struggles since arriving in London.
And the West Ham fans have again taken the chance to poke fun at the Middlesbrough-born forward.
Hugill turned 26 years of age earlier this week, and West Ham’s official Twitter account was on hand with a birthday message.
There were some West Ham supporters that wanted to offer the centre-forward their best wishes, but a number took the chance to troll Hugill once again.
A selection of the Twitter reaction can be seen below:
Surprised you managed to find a photo of him in action. What a rarity…

More or less excited than you were to get out there on the pitch with all the bubbles?
