Loads of West Ham fans have been giving their verdict on Saturday’s defeat, and plenty of fans are desperate to get Andy Carroll back in the side once he returns from injury.

West Ham fell to another disappointing defeat on Saturday, as Adama Traore’s late goal gave Wolves all three points at the London Stadium.

There are plenty of reasons for fans to feel frustrated, whether it be the total lack of effort from certain players or the absolutely awful defending that led to the winning goal.

Perhaps what is most disappointing though is the lack of attacking impetus, as Manuel Pellegrini’s arrival was supposed to usher in a new era of free-flowing attacking football.

Fans are now wishing to dump this new style and get Carroll back as soon as possible, as the Hammers simply had no presence up front, despite the wonderful form of Marko Arnautovic over the last 12 months.

Carroll splits opinion amongst fans, and some were even calling for the 29 year-old to be sold after it was announced he would miss the start of the season with an ankle problem.
