West Ham fans want Carroll gone after shocking Watford display

Loads of West Ham fans have been giving their verdict on Saturday’s disappointing setback at the hands of Watford, and they’re fuming with the performance of Andy Carroll.

West Ham have been in terrific form in recent weeks, but the Hammers fell short at every crucial moment of Saturday’s clash with Watford.

The Hornets themselves have been somewhat of a revelation this season, now up to seventh after Saturday’s games, and took the lead early on courtesy of a penalty from Troy Deeney.

It wasn’t until the 87thminute that Gerard Deulofeu put the game out of sight, and the Hammers had loads of chances to get back in the game.

While it was Javier Hernandez that missed two massive chances, fans are more annoyed with Carroll, who recently vowed to earn himself a new contract.

The 29 year-old made absolutely no impact when he came off the bench though, and if truth be told he rarely even looked interested.

The injury-prone striker’s current contract expires at the end of this season, and judging from the Twitter reactions down below he’ll be very lucky to get a new one…
