Well, Joe Hart's loan to West Ham United has not quite gone as planned.

Hart joined the Hammers from Manchester City with the view to playing a full season of Premier League football ahead of the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

The England number one has not turned out for West Ham in the league since the end of November, however, with Spanish stopper Adrian taking over the gloves.

Hart, who is valued at £10.8m by transfermarkt.co.uk, has been playing in the cup competitions for West Ham, but the club's FA Cup journey came to an end at the weekend when they lost 2-0 at League One side Wigan Athletic.

The 30-year-old had quotes published on West Ham's official website after the match, and it would be fair to say that Hart's words did not go down too well with the fans.

There have been rumours that Hart wants to end his loan at West Ham to save his England chances, and the club's supporters are very much in favour of that occurring.
