West Ham United fans have turned their attentions to who they want their club to sign this summer as they are reportedly on the verge of confirming Manuel Pellegrini as their new manager, with Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw, who earns £130,000-a-week according to The Sun, on their wish-list.

The east London outfit announced last week that David Moyes' contract wouldn't be extended and that they were looking to go in a new direction, and they now look set to appoint a 64-year-old Premier League title winner.

One position the former Manchester City boss may target should he arrive at the London Stadium is at left-back/left wing-back, where the likes of Aaron Cresswell and Arthur Masuaku weren't good enough from a defensive point of view this season as the Irons conceded 68 goals in their 38 top flight fixtures.

West Ham supporters, who believe on Twitter that a £12m-rated Premier League winger would also shine under Pellegrini, have been quick to have their say on potential addition of Shaw, who was publicly fallen out with Jose Mourinho on more than one occasion and failed to make the squad for their FA Cup final defeat on Saturday this summer.

While one said "Shaw definitely be ideal for us Hammers", another said "Shaw would be a good call".
