Loads of West Ham fans have been giving their verdict on Sunday’s loss to Liverpool, and there are plenty of shouts for Manuel Pellegrini to axe Mark Noble.

You won’t find many footballers that have given more to one club than Noble has to West Ham, but it looks like he may be nearing the end of his time as the Hammers’ captain.

The 31 year-old was deployed in a midfield three at Anfield alongside Declan Rice and Jack Wilshere, and all three of them were just outclassed and outfought as they fell to a 4-0 defeat.

Rice was removed at half time, but it’s Noble that fans are tipping to lose his spot.

The Hammers have a brutal opening fixture list to start the season, and the games against the top six will require loads of energy in midfield to chase those top class midfielders.

Noble simply doesn’t have that energy anymore, so could it be time for Pedro Obiang to step up?

The skipper has made nearly 400 Premier League appearances in East London, but Pellegrini has now got a major decision to make ahead of the clash with Bournemouth, and you can find some of the best Twitter reactions down below…
