A popular West Ham insider has claimed Lazio offered Ravel Morrison as part of a package deal to send Felipe Anderson to East London, and fans would love to bring the feisty Englishman home.

According to ExWHUEmployee, Lazio offered Morrison to the Hammers as part of the Anderson deal, as the saga for the Brazilian winger continues into another week.

The negotiations for Anderson seem to be dragging on forever, but the Hammers reportedly rejected the proposal to include Morrison as part of the deal.

The 25 year-old swapped East London for Rome in 2015, but has made just four Serie A appearances for Lazio since the move.

Morrison broke onto the scene in 2013 when he scored an absolutely wonderful solo goal against Tottenham, but work ethic and attitude problems cost him his chance at a glistening Premier League career.

The Englishman certainly has plenty of talent though, and at 25 he could still make up for lost time if he can get his head around a move back to England.

He spent last season on loan with Mexican side Atlas, where he scored three league goals in 18 appearances.

Fans are clearly itching to give him a second chance, and you can find some of the best Twitter reactions down below…
