West Ham United signed Xande Silva from Vitoria Guimaraes during the summer transfer window, with the 21-year-old penning a three-year contract at the London Stadium.

Silva scored a hat-trick on his Premier League 2 debut against Tottenham Hotspur Under-23s last month, and added another two goals for the Under-23s before the end of August.

The West Ham fans have previously discussed Silva's early-season form, and now a number have taken to social media to urge head coach Manuel Pellegrini to promote him.

The Hammers have only scored twice in their four Premier League matches this term, and the form of Javier Hernandez has already been criticised.

Andy Carroll's latest injury means that the club are short in the centre-forward position, and it might not be too long before Silva is promoted.

Indeed, more goals would make it difficult for Pellegrini to ignore the Portuguese.

The West Ham fans have been discussing Silva's August form on Twitter, and they are desperate to see him in the first team.
