West Ham fans want Zabaleta to replace Fredericks against Bournemouth

West Ham United right-back Ryan Fredericks endured something of a torrid Premier League debut for his new side in the 4-0 defeat against Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday, and Irons fans want to see fans’ favourite Pablo Zabaleta reinstated to the starting XI vs Bournemouth on Saturday.

The summer signing from Fulham was handed his top flight bow by Manuel Pellegrini on Merseyside, but he struggled against the electric Sadio Mane, who netted twice against the east London club in what was a comprehensive win for the hosts.

Meanwhile, Slaven Bilic buy Zabaleta was a key man in the side last term following his move from Manchester City, and it seems as though the London Stadium faithful would prefer to see the experienced 33-year-old reintroduced on home soil this weekend as the Hammers look to secure their first points of the 2018/19 campaign.

West Ham supporters, some of whom have also demanded Pellegrini drop another senior player, have been discussing the Argentine on social media, and while one said “Zaba needs to start against Bournemouth”, another said “Fredericks needs dropping for Zabaleta”.
