West Ham are hoping to strike a deal to bring Paris Saint Germain wonderkid Fode Toure Ballo to east London in the summer, according to MailOnline.
The 18-year-old has been tracked by Hammers scouts in recent weeks, who have since recommended the club try and bring him to the Premier League at the end of the campaign.
The Hammers are also in the market for Ballo’s PSG teammate Jean-Kevin Augustin, despite being knocked back last month, with Arsenal also thought to be interested.
But West Ham are particularly keen on signing Ballo, but face stiff competition from a number of other top clubs across Europe.
Ballo, who is still on amateur forms, has impressed for PSG’s reserves this season and is also a France youth international.
The youngster is predominantly a left-sided midfielder, but can also play at left-back.
Meanwhile, Hammers left-back Aaron Cresswell is a reported target for Premier League champions Manchester City.
