West Ham in talks with international defender as Bilic lines up another bargain swoop

West Ham have entered talks with Marseille defender Nicolas N’Koulou over a potential summer move for the Cameroon star, report French Football News.

The Cameroonian international is out of contract at the Stade Velodrome and is free to discuss a move elsewhere ahead of the start of the season.

Having lured star playmaker Dimitri Payet from Les Phocéens last summer, the Hammers have a good record in their French recruitment, while they already signed former Arsenal trainee Harvard Nordviet on a free deal.

Valencia Sofiane Feghouli is another to have arrived in East London on a bosman deal.

Lyon are also believed to be keen on the 26-year old, with manager Slaven Bilic’s former club Besiktas thought to be monitoring his situation.

James Tomkins has been linked with a move away from the Irons this term as the gear up for their seismic stadium shift to the Olympic Stadium over the coming weeks.
