West Ham keen on double loan move

Chelsea striker Demba Ba

West Ham are looking to bring Demba Ba and Wilfred Zaha to Upton Park next season on loan deals.

The Times are reporting that the Hammers are eyeing up a double loan swoop, as Sam Allardyce’s men look to push off their 10th place finish in the Premier League last season.

Ba played 12 league goals for West Ham scoring 7 goals back in 2011, and is Chelsea future is now in doubt. With Jose Mourinho being linked with moves for Stevan Jovetic and Edinson Cavani, Ba’s role at Stamford Brirdge is uncertain.

The Senegalese international scored just 2 goals in his 14 league games since moving to Chelsea from Newcastle in January.

Allardyce is also attempting to bring Wilfred Zaha to Upton Park for a season too. The England Under-21 star was snapped up by United in January, before being instantly loaned back to Crystal Palace.

Zaha helped the London side earn promotion to the Premier League, winning a penalty in the Championship Play Off Final, which is expected to be his last game for Palace.

But West Ham are interested in signing Zaha on loan, as they believe they could offer him more first team football than David Moyes will give him at Old Trafford.

Allardyce will be hoping to have a near complete squad before his pre-season tour to Germany, where the club will play FSV Mainz, Hamburg and Eintracht Braunshweig between July 20th and July 27th.

Should Ba return to West Ham on loan? Should United loan out Zaha again?
