West Ham United are readying a £6m offer in a bid to land Turkish star Burak Yilmaz, according to talkSPORT.
The 30-year old Galatasaray marksman is understood to have been on the club’s radar for a while now, though no firm offer ever truly materialised.
However, Turkish radio station RadyoSpor suggests the Hammers could be about to table a £6m offer this month in an effort to bolster their striking department.
Across his four years plying his trade for the Istanbul giants, the Turkish international forward has notched an impressive 64 times in just 104 league games.
Hammers chief Slaven Bilic is believed to know the player and his qualities very well, having managed domestic rivals Besiktas for a number of years.
His current crop of forwards, consisting of Andy Carroll, Diafra Sakho and Enner Valencia have all suffered with injuries, while Nikica Jelavic has struggled to nail down a regular starting berth.
