The Hammers have enjoyed a stunning campaign so far and currently sit above the Reds in the Premier League as they head into what will be an exciting 2016/17 at their new Olympic Stadium home.
The financial boost this will give the club, alongside swelling TV revenue in the English game, could allow the London club to pursue ambitious summer transfer plans, and reports claim that Sturridge and Benteke are wanted.
Both forwards have endured difficulties at Liverpool of late for differing reasons, and the Hammers seem to believe they can take advantage of this.
Sturridge has recently returned to first-team action after an injury ravaged 18-months, and is thought to be ‘considering his options’ amid widespread criticism of his mentality and fitness.
Benteke meanwhile only joined the club from Aston Villa in a £32.5m deal over the summer, but appears to be the fourth choice forward at Anfield under Jurgen Klopp, behind Sturridge, Roberto Firmino and Divock Origi.
The report suggests the Belgian is valued at £25m and the England international £20m.
