West Ham plotting audacious £20m move for Arsenal midfielder

West Ham are weighing up an absolutely audacious £20m bid for Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, according to the Brentwood Gazette.

The England international has recently resumed full training after missing out on the entirety of the campaign so far with an ankle injury picked up in pre-season.

Though he is regarded as a key member of the Gunners squad, the report claims the Hammers are considering a sensational bid for the talented 24-year old.

Throughout his career, he has had to deal with a multitude of injury problems, undermining his efforts to realise his full potential.

He reportedly supported the club as a youngster and the club are looking for marquee names ahead of their seismic stadium move at the end of the season.

They have been linked with the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Yaya Toure in recent weeks, along with another England star in the shape of Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson.
