West Ham United star Dimitri Payet has revealed that he is not considering an exit during the summer despite attracting interest from a host of European giants.
The 29-year-old is currently being linked with a sensational £35m move to Spanish giants Barcelona, while his displays this season earned him a nomination for the PFA Player of the Year award.
He only completed his £10.7m move from Marseille during the summer, but has been able to instantly adapt to life in the English top flight.
However, in an interview with Gunners legend Thierry Henry for Sky Sports, the France international confirmed his happiness while reassuring the fans that he is not planning an exit when asked if he will still be at the club three years from now.
“Yes, because I never could have imagined experiencing a year quite like this one. Things are going well and I’m enjoying it,
“The team is good, we have a great coach and the fans are amazing, so I want to go far with this club because I’m in this position thanks to them offering the best possible conditions for me to express myself on the pitch.”
Payet has already featured 34 times in all competitions for his side this term, so far managing to score 12 goals while providing another 11 assists.
