West Ham star fires Hammers ahead against Man United with an absolute beauty

Just when the collective eyelids of the football world were beginning to droop following a pretty tedious first half between West Ham and Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday, Senegalese star Cheikhou Kouyate pulled this absolute peach of a goal from nowhere to send the Upton Park faithful berserk.

Hammers boss Sam Allardyce has been praised for instilling some much-needed pizzazz into his side this season with the signing of several technically gifted footballers, and with this goal Kouyate has emphatically proved that he is one of these players.

Despite only recently returning from international duty with Senegal at the Africa Cup of Nations and playing out of position at centre back for the Hammers against the Red Devils, the 25 year-old still has the audacity to pull off one of the goals of the season so far.

Carry on in this vein, and Kouyate will find himself playing up front for West Ham in the future.
