West Ham’s pre-season preparations are already well under-way.
The Hammers could be set of one of the longest seasons of any of the 20 Premier League clubs this year with Europa League qualification on the horizon and the east London club have embarked on a pre-season tour to the United States to step up their training.
The club is currently based at the home of the NFL team – the Seattle Seahawks and it appears one of West Ham’s players in particular has embraced his new surroundings.
Andy Carroll has been photographed trying his hand American football and looks as though he enjoyed it as a distraction from football.
The big forward could be key to any success the Hammers hope to have this upcoming season providing he shakes the fitness doubts that have so far plagued his career in what’s an exciting time for West Ham as they play in the Olympic Stadium for the first time.
Hammers fans will be hoping Carroll didn’t enjoy his new found talent too much though, so he can lead them into a new era…
